Day 1 Arrive Cochin On arrival at Cochin Airport you will be met by our local representative and transferred to your hotel. |

Day 2 In Cochin Morning half day sightseeing tour of Cochin city including visit to Mattancherry, was built in 1555 and its coronation hall and murals at Ramayana are noteworthy features. You will visit the oldest Jewish Synagogue in India built by a thriving Jewish community in 1568 A.D. Now the community has dwindled in numbers, however the synagogue is beautifully preserved. Continue visit Chinese fishing nets. The cantilevered fishing nets line the entrance to the harbour mouth. The long rows of Chinese Nets silhouetted against the sunset present a spectacular sight of Cochin's waterfront. These are large nets, which hang from bamboo or teak posts, still used by the local fishermen of Fort Cochin. Also visit to the St. Francis Church, originally named after Santo Antonio and dedicated to him as the Patron Saint of Portugal. Five Portuguese priests who arrived with Albuquerque built St. Francis church in 1510. In the evening proceed for a cruise around the Harbour. (B) |

Day 3 To Periyar After breakfast drive to Periyar (Thekkady), one of the most fascinating wild life sanctuaries in India, noted for it’s elephants and scenic beauty. (B) |

Day 4 In Periyar After breakfast you will visit the Spice Plantations which date back over three thousand years. Sprawling tea estates cover much of the landscape, but cardamom, rubber, vanilla and coffee plantations are also aplenty. Walk amidst the palatte displaying variant shades of green, neatly arranged into terraced farms, the symmetry broken only by the sudden appearance of a gurgling stream. A lazy mist curls through the hills tuning life back into a dreamy rhythm, as you find yourself renouncing to this sensual overflow. (B) |

Day 5 To Kumarakom After breakfast drive to Kumarakom. On arrival check into your hotel. The afternoon is your own to relax. Kumarakom is undoubtedly the most invigorating, fascinating paradise in Kerala. Nestled on the shores of the serene Vembanad is the little picturesque town Kumarakom. The town consists of a cluster of little islands, and is part of the Kuttanad region. Kumarakom offers leisure options such as boating and fishing. (B) |

Day 6 In Kumarakom Enjoy a day of leisure or take to the water for some windsailing and water-skiing. You could even take a canoe out into the quite lakes and armed with a fishing rod, catch your own dinner! (B) |

Day 7 Backwaters Cruise After breakfast board your Kettuvellam (House Boat) to start your magic journey through the backwater beauty of Kerala. During your journey view and enjoy the lush Paddy fields, coconut farms, small churches and temples. On board your personal crew will serve you the finest fresh fish. After a hearty meal retire to bed and drift off to the night sounds of this tranquil land. (B, L, D) |

Day 8 To Goa After breakfast and your departure from the boat you will be driven to Cochin where you catch an overnight train to Goa (Dep. 14.20 – Arrive 05.50 next morning). You can also choose to fly at a supplement. (B) |

Day 9 Arrive Goa Upon arrival in Goa you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. (B) |

Day 10 - 15 In Goa If its sun, sand and sea that you're looking for Goa's got it all in abundance. Miles of golden sandy expanses stretch along the west coast of India, beside the Arabian Sea. The rolling waves wash the beaches of Goa, on which sunbathers, holiday travellers and the local residents of Goa relax and have the time of their lives. (B) |
